At Garage Busters, we transform donated goods into community support. We believe every family deserves stability, dignity, and access to essential items. Through community partnerships and volunteer efforts, we work to uplift and support individuals facing hardship.

Bed sheets, blankets, pillows, curtains, tablecloths, and similar items
Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath rugs
Sports equipment, exercise equipment, bicycles
Kitchenware such as pots, pans, utensils, china, vases, dishes, cutlery, glassware, silverware,
Small working and in good condition electrical appliances such as power tools, irons, blenders, mixers, stereos, CD players, speakers, DVD players & VCRs, lamps, fans, humidifiers, countertop appliances
Miscellaneous Items such as jewelry, crafts, mugs, candles, pictures/frames, baskets, ornaments, hand tools
FURNITURE
Chairs, small sofas, small couches, loveseats, footstools, storage dressers, armoires, bookcases, cabinets, dining tables, kitchen tables, coffee tables, end tables, computer tables, nightstands, patio sets. (Our driver teams may kindly decline furniture pieces and may not be able to collect items that have damage, need repair, or are from areas with stair access only for their safety and the safety of your property. Furniture in good condition, free of damage, is welcome at our store donation drop-off centers.

VEHICLES
Cars, trucks, and RVs (must be able to drive to the store, provide registration, and pink slip). Home Service pickup is not provided for these items. Must be in good working/driving condition. Let the store know you are coming. Drive it to the store with the title/proof of ownership and be prepared to transfer ownership to Americas Thrift.
ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT:
Any items with damage or that need repair.
Used Mattresses/box springs (for sanitary reasons)
Hospital Beds
Hazardous waste/materials
Large heavy furniture (sofas/couches/recliners). If in good condition, these can be delivered to a store donation center.
Heavy Entertainment Centers or TV Cabinets
Used Remodel/Construction remains (carpet scraps/boards with nails, cabinets, countertops/etc.)
Washers/Dryers of any kind
Items recalled by the CPSC
Liquids
Stun guns, Firearms, or firearm accessories
Chemicals
Used children’s car seats, cribs, strollers, or baby swings
Health/Beauty Items open or unopened
Used major appliances, freezers, refrigerators, etc.
PC’s/Computers/Printers
Pianos (Cabinet, Floor models)
Box TVs (tube/cabinet/console). We will only accept flat/slender styles that can be easily mounted on a wall.
